Can't Book for January 2008...

I just called MS to book a room at the Contemporary Resort for January
2008. I was told I could not book just yet because the points for 2008 are not available. I thought you could book the Disney Collection 11 months out. Was I wrong?

No, you're not wrong - you can book the resorts in the Disney Collection up to 11 months in advance.

But members do have to wait until the next year's point charts are finalized and DVC doesn't always get that done in time for 11 month bookings - especially for stays in the early part of the year.

I wouldn't worry too much about it - it's unlikely that the resort will be sold out before you get a chance to book.
