Walking down Main Street - very crowded. A older man on a scooter (70s). Suddenly this woman winds up and slaps... And I mean slaps this older man, claiming he ran over her foot and didn't apologize. I didn't see it, but I'd assume if your foot was ran over by a scooter, you'd be in too much pain to wind up and slap someone.

My sister claims he brushed her and didn't actually run over her foot. In shock though. You can tell the guy felt bad and was embarrassed. I guess Christmas isn't for everyone.

I guess Christmas isn't for everyone.
Christmas at Disney is definitely not for everyone. It's such an insanely busy; albeit gorgeous place to be during this time of the year and I feel bad that these kinds of things happen. It just ruins the magic for everyone around to witness something like this; especially on Christmas.

In all the times we've been to Disney, I've thankfully not seen anything like this go down, but I'm so sorry you did, OP.

Merry Christmas, everyone! :santa:

Exactly... It's crowded, it's wayy hotter than people expected. Easy to let the emotions get the best of you, but that certainly wasn't the route to take.

I have a friend who was there, and saw it. According to him, the woman was walking down the street, then just stopped. The man on the ECV ran into her, hitting her foot. She yelled at the guy, smacking him, and then putting her foot on the scooter so that it couldn't move until someone came to help her. Not sure what she thought someone was going to do.
Too many people in there yesterday, and crowds make people nutty. I've run into people who have just suddenly stopped in front of me...and I'm on my own two feet. And yep, I've gotten yelled at to 'watch where I'm going', or the guest who decides to turn around and go in the opposite direction..running smack into you, and then making a snarky comment.

yeah it all happened so quickly. It was so hot and crowded.

Working in NYC I encounter that all the time. Encountered it a few times today! I always try to go off next to a building if I'm planning on stopping.

Yikes! People need to chill! I can see maybe looking at the guy, giving him a chance to apologize, and if he didn't maybe calling his attention to the fact that he'd just run over my foot, but slapping him??? Goodness. No need for all of that, I don't care how hot and crowded it is.

Watched a woman hit another on a scooter today. I didn't see enough to know who was at fault but I saw the hitee's reaction and what appeared to be a smirk on the scooter drivers face. No slaps though.
