Can't believe what DH found in our SSR studio last night

We've been here for 3 days & last night DH went to get something out of the cupboard in the kitchenette. He reaches in & comes out with 2 joints!!!!!! I told him to just put them back & we'd take care of it before checking out.

We are checking out today so I will call the front desk before we leave to let them know, however..................I didn't know exactly where in the cupboard they were so this morning when I went to get something out of the cupboard one of them came tumbling out & fell down the sink drain!!!!! Uh oh!!!

I'll still call the front desk & tell them what happened. This was a first for us. I thought dirty underwear would be the strangest thing we'd ever find but I guess not!

If I were someone that smoked weed I might have taken it, but I'm not. Never tried it & have no desire to.

Took the coffee packets from the cupboard this morning & thought a stir stick fell down the drain. Realized it was the joint.

Called a manager before we left. Wasn't so concerned about the stuff in the cupboard but I didn't want a problem with the drain.

if I found weed and didn't want it, I know for a fact I wouldn't keep it with me. What if a cleaning lady finds it and reports you? What if you are firing up that joint "that fell down the drain" and you set off a fire alarm? You are in posession of it and "its not mine" is a common excuse amoungst stoners.

Wow. All I can say is that is some welcome home. I don't think the original owners would call to report those as lost items. So it's safe to say destroy them.

Assuming it was just "rolling papers" around the plant material, it's basically a small piece of very thin paper with herbs in it. The paper will likely dissolve, and the plant material will just wash down the drain. I wouldn't assume that there would be ANY problems with the drain whatsoever, once water has been run down the drain.

I wonder if they could whack the prior occupants with the "no smoking in the room" fine? ... except since they were full unsmoked ones and not the stubs (roaches?) I doubt it.
