Can't believe the people who win "best" awards

I, too, have run many a creative quests that have never been recognized. Eventually you decie to do them just for the enjoyment of adding to other players' fun and not in hopes of a vmk nod - which I have never received.

Hopefully, the quests that win are exceptional more often than not.

I have no problem that my quests I've run off and on since we've had
quest kiosks in the game haven't been recognized. Heck, I make no secret
I pretty much want to win to get one step closer to completing my pin
collection. I've already come to the conclusion that I make rooms for
my own enjoyment a while ago, too.

What I do have a problem with is that VMK recognized this blatant jerk with
an award. There are nice people in the game. The rude ones don't need to
get recognized.

i got booted yesturday while playing a quest, because i would not trade the room owner my bat magic, oh i just love these people.

That violates the pay to play rule. If you remember whose quest it was, you
really should report the player.

Yeah, apparently on some of the other boards on this forum he had a bad reputation also.

Well, this is a problem. And one of the reasons why it can be hard to believe that staff actually reads everything we say in the game.

Some people are rude all the time unless they actually see staff. Then they pretend that they're some sweet, innocent child who cares about everyone.
As soon as staff leaves, they're back to their rude, obnoxious little selves again.

Not as if it would probably do any good but those that went in the jerk's room and had this stuff happen to them, have you used contact us and let VMK know what kind of person they picked as their oh so lovely winner. It is sad to see that someone they pick to win acts this way to all and from the sounds of it he is one of those that puts the little act on for those that work for VMK. While we all have seen wonderful owners of rooms with quests that were super nice or have done our own and been nothing but nice to those coming in. VMK should really know what kind of "winner" they picked and check out his chat and take that pin and all from him. Sounds like a real piece of work they picked. Great job VMK!

Well This Is Coming From A Best Quest Winner. He Probally Didn't Know He Won Until The Day The Annouced. Personaly For Me Staff Never Came To My Room, So Maybe That Is How He Acts Everyday....

That's him with the crown in the picture. I guess he is aware that he is mean and is proud of it.

Oh well. Thanks to the quest makers who are positve, sweet, and helpful in their rooms. If staff chooses to award those without the true Disney spirit, so be it. At least there are some good folks out there who actually care about people's feelings.

Unfortunately, I wandered into his quest room to do his quest without realizing that it was the guy that has been discussed here. It really is a creative, challenging, thought-provoking quest. At least I enjoyed it until I got stuck on the "What does Pocahontas think the sails of the settlers' ships were?"

I finally spoke to him about showing respect to others--he kept demanding "respect" for himself by forcing others to sit down, etc. I finally stepped up on my soapbox and said that we are all equal in VMK-- whether we are rich or poor, cute or ugly, smart or not smart. (This was after he accused me of begging him for stuff--don't know where THAT came from!) It just made me sad that I used up part of my valuable day expending energy on this person.

He finally accused me of stealing his candles????!! I responded that I had no idea how I'd be capable of doing that!? Then I went ahead and left on my own terms... he was saying insulting things about me as I left (I think it was going to be a "Let's make Cinderella proud by taking out the trash" comment.)

I hate to see immature intelligent people. Because if he DID make the quest, a big thumbs up to him... it was definitely done by a smart person.

Okay, I've expended enough energy on the subject!! Thanks to anyone who's "listened" to me vent!!

its pretty sad when this guy wins an award, yet MizBubble gets banned for entering 3 codes incorrectly. VMK needs to really whip their staff into shape.

well i have not gone in to this room but a owner of another quest that won best quest just booted me from the room for....sitting?!?!?! i waited in a queue of 50+ people for quiet a long time and i get into the room answer the first question right which is to sit, second one wrong and go to sit again and in a different spot...and then i hear the boot noise...i just really dont understand how vmk can make these people winners it makes me really sad and disappointed in staff... and im not sure who said it earlier but these people have gone mad with power

I think after he won the award his thinking process changed into one of those "I have more then you so im better" train of thoughts so maybe he felt that since he won he was better then anyone when in fact that is not true like Tiki said before: Everyone Is Equal. Unfortunely this player thought otherwise. Or Its possible that he could have always been this way but I think he changed like alot of people do.

Yes, I see the room is on top of the list. That picture must have been the aftermath of last night's fiasco and numerous people reporting him.

And glad to see he finds it so amusing that everyone thinks (more like knows...) he's mean.
