Cant believe it! Dh just suprised me..were staying at the poly!

Ok so all that finger crossing ha paid off

We're down in Cornwall, & DH took me to an amazing restaurant over looking the sea on the cliffs to announce that he has upgraded us to the Poly for the 15nights instead of LK at AOA I'm beyond excited!
He said I deserve so etching amazing and I'm very grateful!!

I would have been very happy with AOA!

We stayed in a LM room last trip and thought the resort was fantastic,
Ian said that he wanted to make sure this trip was the most magical I've ever had, and he thought because I love the look of the Poly & we have never stayed there it would be perfect.

Plus if I get tired I can sleep in while he takes the boys across to magic kingdom or even too the beach, or I can hop on the monorail back home!

I'm still buzzing!!!!

Kath, I would have said the same as my DH is terrible - in his words he just "turns up". However, when we went to Las Vegas for my 40th, he surprised me by arranging for a limo to pick us up at the airport. I was completely astounded.

Of course, that's probably it for the next 15 years but it was well worth the wait

Ladies, you are describing my husband exactly. Although I like to tell myself he enjoys our trips, but I don't think he gets the "magic". He had never visited as a kid, maybe that is what makes the difference.

Ww what a great surprise. We went to O Hanas for breakfat and dinner and just loved the feel of the place. Would love to spend a few night there. Hopefully the will build onto it dvc rooms like they have at GF and I can then experience staying there.

That's cute! We have a day off work together (here in the UK ) after a little holiday in a couple of weeks, so I told him that he had to arrange something for us to do that day...we shall see what, if anything, he comes up with...

I would have agreed with you at the never visited a a child part, but my DH had never gone either until we went as a couple for his first time in 2006 when he was 26!
My DH usually has very little input on the trip, but that last trip he did print off the ADRs for me and pop them on a spread sheet in order lmao!
