Can't believe I just spent...

I just got a non ball one. I think it is like the DC 28. I love it! I thought my eurka commercial grade one was good but this dyson blows it out of the water. I get so much cat hair up. I think my 12 year carpet looks brand new and the scary thing is I thought my house was spotless before. I do find all kinds of things to clean now. I am always cleaning the ceiling fans, vents, anywhere I can get the tool thing.

I have one, it's ok.....I had a Kirby and it broke, I bought this as the replacement. It doesn't come near the Kirby however; it is only 1/2 the price so, I need to consider that. Eventually; I am buying another Kirby.

Most of the folks I know around here who have bought one have returned them. One of my friends complained that they weren't self-propelled. Is this true? I've had my old Hoover Wind Tunnel for over 13 years and love it. If this thing ever dies, I don't know what I'm going to get.

I wish I could find one at a yardsale for $20 - then I could have one upstairs and downstairs!

I saw one at a yard sale this morning, DC-14 purple, asking $35 but you probably could have bought it for $20. I thought about it for a few seconds then passed.

I have such bad luck with vacuums and need to replace them all the time, I think I may just need to take the plunge with a DYSON! Its just so much money. My best friend loves hers.
