Can't add PH on website???

Please let me know if there is a better place to post this!

I have been trying to price out our packages, but it won't me add the PH option (which we DO want, we never go without it and it gets well used). It will let me click it but won't actually add it (and in the end it just shows my regular howevermanyday ticket, no PH, like it used to. Nor does the price change when I add the PH.

Am I missing something? Is there a reason it won't add it?

Just in case there are future searches that pull up this thread,
I've edited in this info:

My answer (still seen below) is not correct for the question asked.
The question asked is about adding PARK HOPPING to a WDW.

But, my answer below is about how to buy or add NON-EXPIRATION to a WDW ticket.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to CALL the WDW number to order Non-expiring tickets.

They dropped them from the website because so many guests were mistakenly
buying Non-expire when they really didn't need to.

Saved, unused tickets never expire… until they are eventually used.
Many guests do not know this fact.
Confusion reigns supreme! ;)

Sorry for my brain-freeze.
Other posters gave the correct answer for the question later in this thread.

No need for snark, I was really curious if something changed and the website just hasn't been brought up to speed for 2015 tickets yet or something.

Sorry, it did not show up when I clicked on this immediately after it came to my email. All it showed was Nope and Yup.

I'm actually just trying to get Park Hoppers, not the non-expiration tickets. Our trips are never a certain thing so we don't really have a need for tickets for future use.

I just tried and it let me add PH.

Maybe there is an issue with your web browser. Do you have another computer you could try it on? Or another browser?

1, Nope.

2. Yup.

But OP's question was about adding PH, and your response is about adding NE.

I knew that about adding NE, but I thought that it was possible to add PH to a ticket online without calling.

Yes, that is all that was there. You read it correctly, but I still am not sure what he is saying.

Yes, you should be able to add the PH option in MDE when pricing a trip.

Once you go through and select your resort, make sure you select that you want a package...then beneath he number of days you want chose the appropriate option.

I changed the dates for a trip next September and it allowed me to add the hopper.

Yep, this is exactly what I'm seeing (and how it's been every other time I've booked a trip), and it will let me select the Park Hopper option, but it doesn't change the total, and it doesn't show the "with Park Hopper" at the end. One day when I tried it (this has been going on for quite some time) it even said that something in my cart wasn't available and was removed, and nothing changed except the ability to add the Park Hopper, so at that time I figured something went weird. I don't know.....

I just tried and it let me add PH.

I have tried on Chrome and IE, but will try Mozilla.

Thank you guys.

Robo often does a partial response then edits in the rest. I think it's fabulous in general, because the earlier a perfectly correct answer is given, the better. And his answers are perfect 99.99999% of the time. Alas, this was a rare one.

She doesn't want non-expiring. She wants park hoppers.

Well, glad to know that it's just a simple technical issue and I can still make it work. Thank you guys.

We'll be adding PH but not till we get there, can they add that during our check in or do we need to go to a ticket window at one of the parks?

ASK at the check-in desk.

If no-go there, just take a couple steps over to the resort Concierge Desk and they can do it.

NOTE:
If (IF) you purchased your tickets from a ticket discounter, or got them as part of a previous WDW resort package (with an interim price increase) you should wait to do the upgrade until AFTER you have actually USED your tickets to
go into a theme park at least one time.

Yup.

I blew my original reply completely.

I dropped in one of my pre-written ticket responses took a look at the OP's reply,
answered and then got called away.

I came back just now and saw my error.

Blew that one, for sure.
This is one of the great things about the DISboards.
If somebody makes an error it only takes a couple of minutes before
a gaggle of other posters swoop in with the corrected info.

This kind of instant "peer review" is unmatched on any site.

Sorry to the OP, MommyBryn for my slip-up, and thanks to those who made the correct call.

I recall seeing those kind of short, quick answers from that poster in the past. I do not see his original posts anymore, just if quoted. But I do recall back when, stating he always wants to be the first replier, often answering with one or two words, sort of acting like a place holder as first replier, then coming back and adding to the post with addon edits. Strange, but true.
