I am getting the Canon XSi for Christmas (Hubby is getting it for me) and I want to know what you loke, love or hate about the XSi.

Post some of your best pics as I would love see what you were able to do with your camera.

Also, what lens do you have and does it work for your needs...?

I can't wait to see your pics.

I love almost everything about my XSI. The only thing that I can thing that bugs me is that it's not easy to change aperture with your eye against the viewfinder, because the button you have to hold down is right against your cheekbone.

For lenses, I have the kit lens (18-55 IS), a 75-300 USM III, a nifty 50, and a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. I LOOVE the Tamron. Hardly touch the others.

I went from a 300D to the XSi. Holding that button becomes second nature after a bit. And I also LOOVE the Tamron. Man that lens is sharp. :)

I like the size and weight, compared to a 30D. The inexpensive remote shutter release is nice too. The Xsi image quality is probably limited mainly by whatever lens we put on it, with L glass it is very good.
I usually keep a Canon 24-105 on it but even with the 18-55 it is not bad.

One thing I do not like is the continuously rotating ISO speed, which can go from 1600 into AUTO or 100 if I am not careful. The 30D stops at 1600 (or 100 on the other end) making it easy to go to the limit without overshooting it.

I guess we don't have many XSi owners on this board...LOL

I am an XSi owner. I love it, but haven't really gotten to take a lot of pictures with it yet.

The software that comes with the unit is really neat. I guess, what I like the best about it now, is that I am getting really good shots of kids sporting events like volleyball inside a wretchedly lit gym and shooting in RAW and converting it is given me some good shots. I'm still learning however.

The LCD in the back is really good and provides a lot of information. We also have the original Digital Rebel from 2004 and can share the lens and all the remote, filters, etc.
