canon SD850 reviews please

Saw a lot of good reviews on this camera, but wanted to get your opinions. I read on CNET that the flash speed to take a picture is really, and I don't want to miss any pix of my kids!

I have one, and it is great. I carry it in my purse for those unplanned occasions. I know one of the knocks is that it is that the wide angle shots are not as wide as some of the cameras you can purchase. Since I take mostly outdoor shots, the wide angle was not as important to me. I really think it is a good point and shoot. Here are a few of my shots:
