Love Love LOVE this camera!! The low light performance is absolutely insane. Got back from a week at WDW last week, and shot a TON of stuff, including the Finding Nemo Musical at Animal Kingdom.

Beautiful shot! I also love my 5DIII - the improved auto focus is the feature I like best for moving subjects. Can't wait to try some low light stuff at Disney.

Ive had the 7D for about a year or so, and shooting mainly sports, I'll still need to use it with the higher FPS, but this 5D is AMAZING!

certainly a good setup with new 5D3 and 7D .... but the lens still make the difference

I love my 5D Mark III too!! I shot mostly video and the low light performance is amazing. Previously I would never shoot above 2500 ISO because of the noise but now I shoot at 6400 no problem!

I just came back from DL and the iso performance blows away my previous 60d. I shot all the way to Iso 8k comfortably with correct exposure of course. Just wish they had at point metering. Awb was way more accurate and 61 pts ensured I was always on an eye for portraits. I think the 24-105 and 70-200 f4 is are a great combo for this camera. my 40mm af did freeze.

I never thought I'd want one, but I've been "carrying the bag" for a professional photographer, and she let me use it. It's a lot less scary than I thought! And your Finding Nemo picture really gives me some camera envy!

Just got one ahead of a photo trip. I shot the MKii and was not sure I wanted one. Not been in the field with it yet but boy is this a different camera.

The ISO performance is significantly better. Autofocus is great. Build is much better. It is like having a sport camera on a full frame. I tended to shoot sport and dance recitals with the mkii with iso issues and center spot focusing. I expect those days are over.

Totally agree!! I looooove the camera! I, too just got it (for my birthday) and I am so in love with it! I can't wait to lug it around WDW!

I agree...amazing shots!! Based on the exif data on the flicker page, one shot was with the 35mm F/1.4L and the other was the 50mm F/1.2L

My sister is letting me use her canon 5d2 for our trip to disney aug 24th. Will A 50MM 1.4 lens and some luck get me good results like your haunted mansion pict. Or do you reccomend something else for a lens.

What would be your settings for an indoor ride like that

I would love to know too. We are going in October and I am the official photographer for a group of about 15. I'd love to have some great dark ride photos to add to the book I'm going to put together from our trip.
