My family and I woiuld be interested in attending - but would depend on the date(I work everyother wknd and we are away July 14th-22nd) I'll just keep a watch on this thread and when the date is set I'll know if we can go. Fingers crossed!

I love CLP! Was out at Six Flags this week and was thinking I like CLP just as well.

For those of you who haven't been there in years, it's exactly as you remember it, especially the kiddy rides! I remember taking my kids there for the first time and being blown away thinking back to being on those same rides myself when I was a kid.

I know this sounds silly but I always think of DISers as being so far away that I was shocked to see Canobie on a board!!! I don't know why is struck me as so odd that other people would have heard of the local amusement park!!!!

A meet at Canobie sounds great!! We can make it anytime except for the week of 7/30 - 8/6 when we'll be at the cape. We usually go to CLP 5 or 6 times during the summer (we're only 15 minutes away) - hope to see you all there!!

If we end up going we will have room in the car for you, Karen. That is, as long as you dont mind being trapped in a car, listening to my little (ahem) darlings for 45 minutes, LOL! Theres a thrill ride for ya.

We'd love to meet up with all the fellow Disers at Canopie Lake Park! We went up there last summer for the 1st time and just loved it!!! It seemed like a nice and clean family park. I much rather that park than Six Flags in Agawam...too commercial and too expensive for my tastes.I grew up in Spfld. and the new Six Flags was not very impressive for the money our family spent.I think it is geared more towards teens who like thrill rides! If the dates are good then ...count us in!!!
