Cannot get Teppan Edo @ 180 days

I usually plan and get reasonable ADR's, but I tried to get Teppan Edo on Wed Sept 28th a few days ago and there were no ressies available until 8:40 pm (too late for us). We have never eaten there before. Is this super popular or have I stumbled upon a date wherein EPCOT is extremely busy? TIA

You may have instead stumbled into a case in which all of the seatings have just not yet been loaded into the system. That happens now and again. I just can't imagine a scenario in which this not-exceptionally-popular restaurant is literally fully booked during normal dinner times.

The other possibility is some sort of special event in which the restaurant itself has already been reserved.

I would suggest trying again, and trying the day before and after, and trying other World Showcase restaurants, just to see if it may be some sort of "data issue".

Try calling back and see if anyting opens up---this has worked for me before---good luck!

Thanks for the help. I tried again just now for this, Garden Grill and Biergarten and very little at any of them, so I am hoping for a problem with the computer system. I will try again next week. Thanks again.

I am going that week and I booked all of my reservations at EXACTLY 180 days out and boy am I glad I did. I have tried to go back and make tweaks to my dining reservations and found that every restaurant is pretty booked up! I got Teppan Edo for Monday, September 26th at 5pm. I found something that helped was not putting in "dinner" but instead put in the time you want. Hope that helps!

I'm starting to think that this is going to be a surprisingly busy week, maybe since the last week of FD in 2011 open to theGP so far. I was unable to reserve the only ADR that really matters to me (8:05 am at CP), and when I called to check on openings was told that they really are full. I'm going to keep trying, though!

I think it's going to be crowded that week. I booked our dining reservations 180 days out and got most of our stuff within an hour of our ideal times, except T-Rex. It's not on the dining plan and they have nothing from 5-9pm open that same week. You can do a search on all restaurants within the time frame you want and see what it available and just reserve something as a back up. And sometimes people cancel, so you may have some luck.
