I was wondering if anyones dog has had this. Our dog (5yrs old) has been diagnosed with it and is having surgery today.
Last Tues. at 1:00 am we had to rush her to an emergency vet because she was panting uncontrollably. They stabilized her and we then had to take her to our regular vet in the morning. They referred us to a specialist. DH took her to the specialist yesterday and they said that they wanted to do the surgery as soon as possible. They operate on Wed., Thrus, and Firdays. So we left her there and the procedure is being done today.
