"candy" rules for the classroom

hey guys--my friend just called me to see if i heard of this or knew where to find it...she was given a "candy" rules sheet for her classroom which was basically thinks like..

No "reeses" (no recess)..

anyone know what im talking about? thanks!

Classroom Rules can be so SWEET!

If you are late, you will miss THE TOOTSIE ROLL call.

You shouldn't tell WHOPPERS about your friends.

Work hard and report card day will be a great PAYDAY.

Be a GOBSTOPPER and keep your glue closed tightly.

Do your best work and SKOR high!!!

Be SMARTIES and keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

CRUNCHing & KRACKELing paper is not necessary.

Behavior is rewarded with GOOD & PLENTY of fun.

Treat everyone with respect and not like NERDS.

Do your work in class where you won't have MOUNDS of homework.

Make sure your "i's" and "j's" have DOTS.

It is kind to be a LINDOR when a friend is in need.

We all make mistakes and SNICKERS aren't kind!

Don't be AIR HEADS -- stay on task.

No ROLO blading on the school grounds.

Be a RED HOTS student and do your work.

There will be no SNICKERS from the class when someone gives an unusual answer.

When a STARBURST of an idea enters your mind, please raise your hand.

MOUNDS of compliments can't replace one insult, so please choose your words carefully.

All rules must be followed- BAR NONE!

The consequence for broken rules will be time out on MARS!

They are trying to pass a law now on NOT being able to have any kind of sweets in the classroom or at school. For instance, for "parties" or "celebrations", healthy snacks would only be allowed. Our principal told us to "put it on the back burner" for right now, but that it is coming on down the line now. NO candy for treats, prizes, etc. No sweet drinks, cupcakes for birthdays, etc.

No Child Left Behind and No Fun in Class!! These rules created by people who are NEVER in the classroom and see/feel/live what we as teachers do everyday!!

Some times you just need something sweet. If you totally focus on whats in front of you, and never anything else your gonna go crazy. My history teacher is one of the best I've had, he can totally go off track, make everyone laugh, and we still learn something. my english teacher on the other hand makes us do whats in the book, only whats in the book, word for word, with nothing off topic. It is kindof depressing to be in her class, where as, I look forward to going to history everyday.

haha...thats what i was thinking..

i just mentioned reeses because that was the one line that i could remember from what she was telling me!
