Barefootmama - Yes, exactly - "balance" is the key word! I know I don't fall in the majority of people, but I don't care that much about WoC. Yes, I watched the full show on
YouTube and I know it will be spectacular in person, but I am not dying to get there and see it. I could be doing other things. I am just not that much of a 'show person' in general. I appreciate the work and time that goes into creating such a show, and the effects are awesome...but it isn't going to be a must-do for me. I'll see it eventually.
And so I was holding out some hope that there would some trace of something candy corn-ish in DCA this HalloweenTime. Mainly, it's because I feel like DCA
needs it. DCA needs Halloween and Christmas things because it makes the guests feel like they are involved in a more complete holiday experience that way - when the entire resort (or at least both parks) is decked out, you feel more immersed in the whole season. I don't want to be fully involved in Halloween or Christmas in DL, only to walk across the Esplanade to DCA and find that DCA is not involved in the holidays at all, really! It would take me out of the experience and immersion. I want to feel like it's HalloweenTime and Christmas time everywhere I go in DLR. It seems weird to me that only one park is 'celebrating' Halloween!
That giant candy corn would have worked perfectly in A Bug's Land.
