Candy / Caramel Apples - MGM

I have read yummy things about the candy apples at a store in MGM. Now I want to try them but cannot find out which store and where at MGM. Does anyone know the name / location? I read that it was a candy store "next to the villain shop".

Yep that is the store. It is right on the end of Sunset Blvd. I think it is the first store on the left when you are heading towards ToT and RnR. Right near the times/attractions board.

I think it is called Sweet Spells. My DS and I had a caramel apple one night at MGM and we got it there. It was really good! Had one this summer at a local amusement park and was so disappointed after being spoiled by the ones at MGM. There is also a window in the shop that you can look into and watch the CMs making candy. It is a nice place to grab a snack and relax for a few minutes.

I thought it was called the candy cauldron? I dunno...I could be wrong. Take a right onto sunset...it's right there on your left.

Makes me want one now!! heheh I didn't get one on my last trip.

If you mosey over to DTD Marketplace and check out Goofy's candy factory (I think that's what it's called?) you can "custom make your own" there. Well - you fill out a sheet of paper with your options, and they make it right there for you.

There is also a window in the shop that you can look into and watch the CMs making candy. It is a nice place to grab a snack and relax for a few minutes.

FYI - that's a smoking section right there I believe. One year, when I was a smoker, I was sitting there with DH and we were watching a CM make candy apples...she was balancing the tray on the top of her stand...against the window...well the tray fell...and all these fresh apples with nuts on them fell between her workstation and the window. We couldn't help but laugh...she looked up at us and gave us the "oops!" face. hehehe
