Candy Cane or Tropicana

I have not been to Disneyland since 1991 and I NEED HELP !
I know WDW like my own backyard.
First Question Hotel ? Candy Cane or Tropicana ? ANYONE ?
I have been able to find lots of info on Candy nothing on Tropicana.
Second Question ? How are Parks Mid June?
We are looking for next year.

Just returned and highly recommend Candy Cane. Very nice furnishings, great service and good location.

Weather was beautiful but cold at night. DL was moderately crowded Mon-Wed, CA not crowded at all when we went on Tues.

I am guessing they are both "basic motel rooms" but the Candy Cane looks better from the outside. The plus with Tropicanna is the location, right accross the street from Disneyland Resort. We stayed at the Tropicanna this past January and would stay there again.

I have stayed at both and would stay at both again. I would say the Candy Cane is a bit nicer overall though and seemed less crowded. They also had a better continental breakfast. They are both within walking distance of the parks. There are tons of restaurants, both fast food and sit down, on Harbor Blvd, where both hotels are located. I personally don't recall a problem with the beds at either hotel.

Tropicanna is closer to the restaurants, since it is on the same side of the street as they are (accross from the park). Candy Cane is furthur down on Harbor, on the same side of the street as Disneyland.

We had no trouble with beds.

If the prices being equal I would pick Tropicanna because of the location being closer and more convienient.
