For those of you who love the CCI, tell me why. We're specifically looking at a premium Queen room.

1. An ontime shuttle.
2. Breakfast delivered to your room. (You can always swing by breakfast room if you need more.) Order extra for fridge for afternoon evening...
3. Decent free parking.
4. DVD Players with DVDs to check out.
5. 2pm check out.
6. 7-10 min walk
7. Beds are very comfortable.
8. Staff is friendly

All of the above! Plus, not only is the staff friendly, they also are very specifically helpful. We've booked rooms for friends who came from other countries. English very limited -- lots of anxiety on their part about being able to manage on their own and about whether the kids would feel comfortable with different food and different faces all around. Every time, the staff has been so helpful and over the top kind. The kids have done great, the parents have loved the whole CCI experience, breakfast has always been a hit -- every family we've booked there has decided that the CCI is the only place they'll stay at DLR for all return trips! And the staff, especially the shuttle drivers, has always been super helpful with my parents -- helping them with stairs, with getting breakfast, chit chatting at the desk, etc. Love the CCI!

We stayed there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Normally we stay at the DLH, but we've stayed once at HoJo and once at Sheraton Park. I was pleasantly surprised by the CCI. Now don't get me wrong, the rooms and the facility itself is nowhere near as nice as the DLH, but since you can stay there nearly 3 nights for the price of 1 night at the DLH, they don't need to be.

Proximity to the park was very good. It felt much closer than the Sheraton Park and I'm not convinced that the DLH is actually any closer considering the walk through DTD. They do have a shuttle, but we never took it in the mornings because it didn't get there early enough for us. However, the shuttle was awfully convenient in the evening when we were tired and had sore feet.

Service was very good, with one exception. The people at the front desk were very accommodating ... they went out of their way to get a room ready for us when we arrived before check in time. Housekeeping was somewhat problematic because without fail they wanted to clean the room right at the time we were returning for our afternoon break. They tended to arrive in our area around 3-5 pm. So out of a 5 night stay, we only had our room cleaned once. However, they did bring extra towels when I called for them. There were plenty of washers/dryers for doing laundry and it was much closer than the facilities at the DLH. (Note the dryers dry very hot, but that's not unusual for a hotel laundry room.) We didn't stay in a premium room so did not get the breakfast delivery and did not eat breakfast there because we were out so early in the mornings.

Rooms were pretty standard motel-type rooms, but everything was clean and we thought the beds were really comfortable. We didn't use the pool; it looked pretty run of the mill but it never seemed overly busy, either, which is nice compared to how busy the DLH pool always is.

I had to rent an ECV due to an injury ... they had reserved parking for it and charged it for me every night.

Though I missed being in the Disney bubble, I'd probably stay there again if I was on a budget.

All the above, with breakfast delivery being #1 on our list. It just saves so much time and hassle in the morning. We always order extra so we have milk and juice in the fridge for later and snacks for our break. In 10 trips we have only stayed at CCI or the Grand Californian. It's really the only off-property hotel we have considered and don't plan on looking any further.

Just got back from 9 nights at the CCI the other day. I agree with what others have said but e stayed in a regular room on the second floor so I can't speak for the breakfast delivery. But our room had a tray and a couple times I would load it up and we would eat breakfast in our room. Also not the greatest view but the fireworks can been seen if you go to the second floor balcony. We found the view from about rooms 225-227 to be the best.

Not sure about the CCI but at other places I have stayed when I knew I would be back in the afternoon I would call the front desk/housekeping when leaving the room and ask for an early make up if possible. They want to get the rooms that people are checking out of ready first for new check-in's of course but a call usually helps.

Also, at least in our room, they got rid of those awful looking flowered bed covers you see on their website. It was a plain duvet cover but done up nice.

A phone request works at CCI, too. The earlier you can make the request the better. So if you know that you prefer to have your room made up in the morning each day of your stay, make the request at check in.

1. Consistent shuttle- never late.
2. Comfy beds.
3. Super clean.
4. Walkable if you choose.

CCI is one of my 3 go-to hotels. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and comfortable, free breakfast that's pretty decent, and the shuttle is nice when you don't feel like walking.

Care to share your other two favs?
I love the Hojo - super friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The kids love he splash area, though my youngest will outgrow it soon.

On our most recent visit we stayed at Park Vue. It was more affordable. Beds were very comfortable and it was right across the street. It made it so convenient to leave the park for a while in the afternoons and rest. We had a queen bed with twin bunk beds. The kids loved having their own space instead of having to share. The room was on the smaller side and the toiletries weren’t that great, but I can deal with that. I think this might be our new go-to place.

Does Park Vue have free breakfast?

I've tried about five of the different hotels on Harbor but we keep coming back to the Candy Cane. Very friendly staff and clean and comfortable. We always try to get a room upstairs around #219 great view of the fireworks! The pool is just the right size for us cozy but not too small. Love their free breakfast! get you filled up before you go to the park for sure. We always snag a extra Apple to take the parks with us. Shuttle is always on time. Last time we stayed I accidentally left my purse in the safe in the room and realized it 3 hours into my trip home driving. I called them and they overnighted it to me without charge! Highly recommend.
