Candy Cane Inn - Spa and kids pool refurb

Due to stay at CCI in 3 weeks - I noticed last week it stated on their website that kids pool and spa was been refurbed 7th March until 18th March and then today it says up to 25th March - getting a bit close to our dates especially if they extend the date a little further.

The kids pool wouldn't be a big deal but the spa def would - anyone know what's happening there?

E-mailed Candy Cane - they said that they do anticipate kiddie pool and spa reopening 25th March - however they couldnt confirm this as they need an inspector to come and give it the thumbs up and they say that the difficulty is getting this arranged.

I am seriously thinking of checking availability on other hotels if they extend the date further - the spa is a biggie to me after a day in the parks

Whenever something is dependent on a government agency to open, I don't count on it. We've stayed at CCI twice and never used their pool or hot tub. We just don't have time. After a long day in the parks I want to fall in to bed. But you have to decide what is most important to you in a hotel. I hope it works out for you!
