Candy Cane Inn Ressies NOT received!

We are planning to go to Candy Cane Inn Xmas time. I made ressies in March.
We have a confirmation number but have NOT received a paper confirmation.
I have called three times and have also talked to the manager. What gives?
This doesn't make me feel too confident although CCI has great reviews and
reputation. Any suggestions? We got a great rate and I hate to change but..
 
That is totally unlike them. When you asked for a paper confirmation, did they acknowledge your reservation exists?

I have stayed with them many times (phoned in reservations) and I never have recieved a paper confirmation - I never asked either. Always perfect stays as well!
 
If you have an email confirmation, I wouldnt worry about it. The email I had was more detailed then the mailed confirmation. Have you had them double check your mailing address? Maybe a number was transposed or something?
 
We just stayed there May 1-6th and when we made our ressy a couple of months prior we received a written confirmation in the regular mail about 2 weeks later.

Just a thought, did you confirm the reservation with a credit card? If not maybe they only send written conf. when the reservation is guaranteed with a card to back it up. Also it might have something to do with how much time a reservation is made ahead, maybe they have a time window that they don't bother to send out a hard copy.

I had this problem & found out that although I had an email confirmation, CCI did not receive my reservation. When you reserve online, it goes thru a reservation company & they fax the reservation to CCI then you get your mailed confirmation. I have found out that the email conf number does nothing for you. Do they have your reservation in the system? What did they say when you called? I would make sure you have a paper reservation with their confirmation number on it.
 
We are staying at the CCI in July. I booked online and received a confirmation within 2 weeks in the mail.
 
I usually book over the phone directly with CCI and have been given a confirmation number. I have never received a paper copy of the reservation and have not had any problems. That being said, if you ask for one you should get one. Seems strange, their service is usually top notch... :confused3
