Candy Cane Inn Premium Rooms?

Just a few questions. We are currently booked at the Hyatt Regency, so a larger room than what we would have at CCI, but I keep checking back at CCI. Free parking vs $28/night being one of the reasons, as well as free breakfast. I also like the idea of 2pm check-out in a CCI Premium room.

Do all of these rooms have laminate floors now?

Does the breakfast brought to the room include any more options than what is offered in the breakfast room? Anything hot? Any meat choices? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of protein choices.

Is there enough room for a 5th person to sleep comfortably? Our 5th person is a 3 year old. Looking at pictures that I believe are Premium rooms...it looks pretty tight and I'm not sure how a rollaway would fit. She wouldn't necessarily need a rollaway, though. Just a spot out of the way to sleep.

Thanks!

From my experience the premium rooms, though not really large, had sufficient space for a 5th person. During our trip this summer, we shifted the table/chairs to the opposite side of the dresser/TV cabinet and put a twin size inflatable bed for a teenager in that space. Depending how much luggage you have, storage space can be tight. I used the small closet and 3 small drawers for my clothes. The teens lived out of their suitcases which they kept under the vanity. For hot food, you have instant oatmeal and they have a croissant/egg/ham sandwich which I thought was pretty good. They also have boiled eggs, cheese, and yogurt for protein but no meat. We really liked the short walk and used the shuttle a couple of times.

We always get the premium rooms at CCI and though not large, they are comfortable and a rollaway fits fine. The breakfast delivery is fantastic and a great way to get a start on your day. We always get a carafe of coffee, orange juice(or apple juice) and milk along with the food choices. The shuttles are great but it is an easy walk too. :-)

Thinking that maybe for a 3 year old, a sleeping mat might work....then you could just roll/fold up and tuck out of the way when not needed. You can tip the hotel roll away bed up for more space, but don't think that I would do that with a small child in the room. We've brought a foam sleep mat that we got at Costco and it worked out great!

Good idea about the mat, thank you.
