Candy Cane Inn or Tropicana - and why?

Hi all!

I have reservations at both Candy Cane Inn and Tropicana and need to cancel one. I know CCI gets rave reviews here, but I like the proximity of Tropicana Inn and Suites to the main entrance.

We are spending 3 nights (arriving late) so will only have two full days in the parks. We will not be using the hotel pool, and I've made breakfast reservations for our two park days. So really all we need is a clean, comfortable, convenient room to sleep.

Which one should we choose, and why?

We have stayed at Tropicana numerous times and was very happy with it. I would recommend them.

The ease of getting to and from the parks is a cinch.

Candy Cane inn is our hands down favorite place to stay! There isnt anything that we don't like about it. Clean, comfy, pretty grounds, amazing staff, walk to the parks, free shuttle, free parking....I highly recommend it.
I have not stayed at the Tropicana but I have heard good things!
