I just called to book my ressies for the Candlelight Processional and Chef's D'France (sp?) for December 24 and they are all booked...EVERYTHING for this package is booked for 12/24!!! Geez!!! The tickets just went on sale 2 days ago!!! I guess Christmas Eve is probably the most popular night for the Candlelight Processional.
Do you think if I call periodically I might get a reservation for any time, any restaurant on 12/24?????
I know that I can stand in line to see the Candlelight Processional but I would have liked the package. I did make regular dinner reservations for that evening at Chef's d'France, but not as part of the package.

I would keep calling back. I was able to book the Coral Reef today for 12/24 but had to take the early seating and go to the 5pm show.

During Christmas week you cannot count on being able to get into Candlelight Processional through the standby line. In the past, we have had nights where we were at Candlelight where they only let in TWO people from the standby line on Christmas Eve. You can stand and see and hear a lot from outside the theater, but may possibly not get a seat through the standby line for a given show. Perhaps things have changed.

It is frustrating, isn't it? I tried calling about 7 p.m. on 7/2 (they day they went on sale) and could get NOTHING at Le Cellier on 12/2 or 12/5 and that was after they had been on sale for only 12 hours. I knew I needed to call that day but completely misjudged the demand - sure didn't expect to have no availability at all for early December dates. We are making do - decided to do a regular LC reservation (still could only get 8:50 p.m. on 12/5) and then do a CP on 12/2 at Teppanyaki where we had just intended to have a regular reservation. We hadn't wanted to do CP on 12/2 as my mother is just arriving that day but it was the only thing we could get to work at all.

I am going to keep calling in hopes that an earlier LC reservation will open up for 12/5 as 8:50 is really late for 2 small kids.

Good luck and maybe something will open up for you!

Le Cellier regular reservations have been available for awhile now. SO figure the restaurant was half booked to start. So that did not leave alot of slots open.

They had blocked off those times is my understanding, so that the restaurant between 5:00 and 6:45 pm was supposed to be exclusively for CP reservations. There was nothing available four days before the 6 month mark for Xmas Eve (our stay started on 12/21 so we were able to try to book Xmas Eve then). The earliest available was 7:50 pm and I was told the restaurant had been blocked off for CP reservations.
