Candlelight Processional Question

We are attending the Candlelight Processional on Nov. 24 (me, DH, and my then 7 year old DD), and I'm debating between two separate restaurants.

Choice 1: Via Napoli with 5:00 show
Choice 2: Biergarten with 6:45 show

I'm torn because I prefer the 6:45 showtime (I have read that the 5:00 show diminishes the experience due to it still being daylight), however I've never tried Via Napoli before and think the menu looks appealing. We've been to Biergarten before and liked the food fine. Biergarten is also a little cheaper. Which would you choose?

Also, is tax not included in the package price? Is the tip based on the package price or what you actually order?

Thanks!

We are also doing Via Napoli on the 24th but with the last show. Last year we went to Akershus for the CP (mostly because my daughter wanted to eat there anyway). My thought is that if I'm using 2 credits for my meal, I'd like to get a little more (appetizers). We wanted to try Via Napoli also so getting more food to try is a plus.
If I had to pay out of pocket (which has crossed my mind to save credits) I'd be choosing the cheapest option that appealed to my family.
Tax is included and the tip was based on the set CP package price not individual meal prices.
Have you tried adjusting your reservation to a later showing?

We are paying OOP, so that's why cost is a concern. That's good to know that tax is already included--I wonder why the Disney site says it's not. I think I was fine with Via Napoli until I started reading bad reviews about the 5:00 showtime, so now I'm second guessing.

Also, I was unable to change the showtime though I did try several times.

I may have misspoke about the tax. After looking at all my receipts from our last trip, they all say tax is $0.00. I think that's because of the dining plan. Our bill for 4 adults at Akershus came to $73.49 each ($293.95 total before tip). I think the cost was $69 last year. So it looks like about 6.5 percent tax. Sorry for the confusion.
I'd keep checking. Once the 60 day mark passes, and people adjust plans more times may open up!
Honestly I was so engrossed in the show last year that I couldn't have even told you how dark it was outside!
But if seeing the show in the dark is a priority over cost and food, then stay with Biergarten.

I would keep refreshing the disney site and see if you can get via Napoli with a later show. There are cancellations all the time. I absolutely love Via Napoli. The pizza is soooo good because they import the ingredients from Italy. Being Italian from NY I'm picky about my pizza and its the best I've ever had. I also prefer the 6:45 show because the ambience is a lot better.
