I wanted to get ADR for the Coral Reef and all they had was where you got to go to the Candlelight Processional (they give you a special badge to sit in a certain section) and they requested a Credit Card, but this is suppost to be on the regular dinning plan.We really didn't want to go to the Processional because of going to the MVMCP and when I asked if we had to go to the Processional (without my card being charged),I was told that we didn't have to go to the Processional and when I asked why they needed my CC,they said they would charge us if we didn't show up for the Coral Reef ressie.I asked if it was still on the regular dinning plan and fist she said no,then, she said,"Well it looks like it is".My question is has anyone not gone to the Processional without being charged and is it really on the dinning plan, since things seem to change and not all CM are aware of it.Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, Coral Reef is not on the Candlelight Processional list. Just a few are, Rose and Crown, Marrakesh, and a few more. However, Coral Reef IS on the Disney Dining Plan. They do not charge your credit card unless you DO NOT SHOW UP for your dining reservation. Hope this helps.

Coral Reef is on the dining plan. I have the Candlelight Processional package and I am using the dining plan for it.
They do require a credit card to reserve but I was told that credit card would not be charged unless we didn't show.
Hope this helps.:goodvibes

We are having dinner at Teppan Edo with the CP package, and it is costing us one TS DDP credit each. I do believe Coral Reef is on the list, but we couldn't get a seating time that worked for us. Would have loved to have tried it, though. And nope, they don't charge you unless you are a no show.

I just got off the phone with a Disney dining reservationist and she told me that Coral Reef is on the Disney Dining Plan, but NOT one of of restaurants for the Candlelight Processional! I think somebody at Disney needs to inform all the dining reservationists which story is correct. I booked Rose and Crown because I was told Coral Reef is not for processional! Very frustrating!

So long as you show up at the restaurant and eat you will not be charged....if you choose to not use your badge to attend CP they not only won't care, they won't even know as it's not a numbered ticket or something they keep track of......if you decide you don't want to go to the show after all, you might consider spreading a bit of pixie dust to someone standing in the long long line hoping to get a standby seat after all those with badges are seated. Kinda like giving your fastpass to someone when you decide not to go on the ride again....it'll make someone's day!

If you are on the dining plan then it's 1TS credit.....if however, you are paying out of pocket, realize that the CP package is a FIXED PRICE, so you will pay $53.99 per adult no matter what you order. However, also realize that on the basic dining plan you will receive an entree, desert, and non-alcoholic drink.....but if you are on the deluxe or premium dining plan, or paying out of pocket you will also receive an appetizer. Whether paying the fixed price out of pocket is a bargain (especially if you know you don't want the CP seats) will depend on what you order.

I would give my tickets to the candlight away if we see that we are going to keep the Coral Reef in a hearbeat.I beleive in paying it forward. We are a little up in the air at this time if we are keeping it,but I know we have till 48 hours to cancel.I know that last year I had a fastpast to Test Track and I tried over and over again to give them away, and no one wanted them and the fastpast tickets were empty,so I figured someone would want them, but no one and I asked alot of people. But on the plus side,we have given other fast passes to others and had never had a problem finding someone who wanted them. Also we have been given fastpasses and we glad to get them,so if we keep the Coral Reef I will be sure to give someone the badge thing. Thanks for all the help.

Oh I feel REAL sure someone would seriously appreciate your CP badge! It's really popular and folks wait forever in a line hoping to see it. You'll make someone's night!
