Title says it all!

We are going into this trip knowing we will be paying some meals OOP. We have 7 sit-down credits. But have no problem eating mostly CS either and figure some of those will be OOP. :thumbsup2

Or should we not do the reservation at all and just stand in line?

I think it depends on where you're eating and whether it's a lunch or dinner pkg. The CP is 2 TS credits. Each TS credit is "worth" $37-38, so if the pkg is $75 or more, than you're breaking even by using the DDP. If it's less than that, I'd pay OOP.

I called disney about this, if you pay out of pocket it is a fixed price of $70pp :(

If you call again, I bet you get a different answer. The phone CMs don't always have this type info at their finger tips. Not to mention, that it would be very strange for the price to be the same at all the different places where you can dine.

The link in the pp's answer is correct and has the pricing for all the different restaurants.

Thanks for the info. I have noticed a lot in planning this trip a lot varies by which CM answers the phone. It wasn't like that when we went before :(

The DDP can be worthwhile for a CP package if you choose one of the most expensive dinner packages. Lunch packages might end up being a waste of 2 credits on a 1 credit restaurant.
