Is a Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages necessary at the time we visit? Nov 25-Dec 2? It seems like a larger $ difference for kids. From the menus I checked out they can eat for 5.00 at San Angel Inn but its. 12.99 for a package for a child? That just seems high to me. Is it worth it. :confused3 thanks!

I found it was definately worth it. If you don't get the package you will get all the left over seats the back and sides, if you get in at all.

We lined up an hour before the start and we had package tickets. They load all the people in the package line before they let anybody in the stand by line get in..

I was just thinking it may not be so busy because we are going so early in the season? :confused3
Is this just wishful thinking??

A lot also depends on who the narrator is. When its one of the more popular narrators you can not get in without the package...like Jim Caviezel or Gary Sense for example.

IMHO, the best seats are for package folks (up front) unlike the Fantasmic package where they are off to the right.

When we go each year we go early in the season and we get the package deal. :thumbsup2 . Just like the other 2 post said, it depends who the narrator is and they always let the dinner package people in first and the line can get pretty long. It is worth the money to have the ressies ::yes::

Have a disney day

Thanks so much everyone I really didn't want to spend the extra $$$ but it sounds like it's worth it. Now I just hope it's not too boring for my 8 & 9 yr old. :rolleyes1

Is there a website where we can look at the dates/speakers/menus/prices for the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package 2006?

It's too early - I wouldn't expect to see the 2006 list until at least the first part of August. Even then, the list is subject to change.

You can see last year's info here.

Best wishes -

Is this included with the Dining plan?

We are wanting to do this one night during our trip at Le Cellier (hopefully they have a package) and we are on the disney dining plan. does this count? do we have to pay an add'l surcharge? if it is on the dining plan is it still 1 table service?

thanks!

I would recommend that if you are taking children to the Processional plan to attend the first performance. That way the children will not be quite as worn out, and will probably enjoy it much more than they would later in the evening.

Enjoy.

According to the info site, last years package was able to be used with the dining plan. Still 1 credit depending on where ouy want to eat.

We attended last year with 11 and 13 year old kids. We had the CP package. They loved it. We went to the first show that night. It was awesome! Marlee Matlin narrated, or signed, the Christmas story. She rocks!

We used the dining plan to cover the cost of the meal at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki. Yum!

Would you guys suggest making an ADR only at the 180 day mark? Is there a possbility that times/tables will be held until August?

No, because your regular ADR cannot be converted into a Candlelight Package ADR.

Thanks, but my main concern is the timing of our ADR...I would cancel the original ADR if it worked out with the package. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Thanks!

I have been wondering the same thing. It seems like with the 180 day ADR instead of the 90 day PS, the CP dates should be released earlier. :confused3
