What restaurants can you choose from for this package? Also, how much does it run -- or how many table service credits from your dining plan is it? Thanks! :goodvibes

I am doing this for the first time this December, so looking forward to all opinions. :)

I did this for the 1st time last year and loved it. You eat first, and then go to the event. In order to ensure everyone who got the dinner package gets a seat, they begin a line to the left of the seating area and then they start seating at a designated time before the event.

Since we didn't know that last year, we walked all the way from Japan (where we had our dinner) to America, only to have to come all the way back to get in the line.

When I booked, I believe I got scheduled for dinner about 2 hours before the show and I almost felt rushed. Just because I had the dinner package did not mean I got sat immediately. That still works like a regular ADR so I put my name in and then waited 20 minutes before I was seated.

If you want to ensure that you have an up front or covered area seat, make sure you eat early so you have time to get in the line.

Me too! ADR's on June 13th...do they book like fantasmic packages...FASt?! What happens if they don't release the packages before ADR date? Just a little confused how it works! Been to WDW MANY times..but never gotten a chance to see the processional or do the dinner package! TIA

Hope someone can answer!:)

The suggestion currently made is call as soon as the packages are released, no matter when your ADR date is, unless Disney specifically announces that you can't book one before your 180 day mark.

Before 2009 the packages could be booked for any date as soon as they were released for booking. It was only in 2009 they had to be booked at the (then) 90-day mark for making reservations.

If they don't get released by the first week of July they won't be available before the 180 day mark for any of the available dates anyway.
