I will be a First time holiday visitor (usually visit wdw in jan/feb) during first week in December this year. I have everything booked except for candlelight processional lunch package. I've heard varying dates of when these packages are typically released.

Any input from veterans? Is there a watch list already and I'm just missing it? Is a watch list even necessary ;) I'm assuming these packages go fast but I don't want to be silly and get unnecessarily fixated on checking the site/calling every day :)

If I remember correctly, we booked the first or second Saturday in July. I think early July is the norm.

They don't go THAT fast, you don't have to worry about them selling out the day they go on sale or even close, most dates for early December likely won't even "sell out". (Might depend upon the Narrator though and what restaurant you are interested in.)

There is likely a watch page over on the main Trip Planning forum page, a lot more people go there than here. I can't give you exact dates, but I think they usually open the packages up mid-July to early-August.

CP is really awesome, you'll love it. :thumbsup2

Booking for 2013 was July 9th, so look for it around then.

Certain restaurants do sell out fast. Last year booking opened on July 9th. I booked my package for 6 people at Teppan Edo right when it opened. For s***s & giggles, right after I booked, I tried to book another package for 6 people at the same restaurant and it said there was no availability.

So, know the restaurant you want, and be online when it opens. Germany will always have availability LOL, and so will Morocco. I guess nobody wants to eat there.

There will be three showtimes. Your dining time is dependent on what showtime you want. The dining time is usually about 3 hours before the showtime.

Thanks!!

We are going to book a lunch for December 1st so hopefully they will nail down a narrator for that day soon. We don't have a whole lot of flexibility in our schedule so we'll just go with whoever is that night. I'm just so excited to go it won't really matter to me. :)

Thanks again for posting the link. I'll be stalking this page and the ADR page daily :)

Reservations are open now! Got exactly what/when/where we wanted. Now to wait to see who our narrator is :)

Booked this morning at Chefs de France!:thumbsup2

Wanted reservation for 6 people for the 8:15 show between 5pM and 6, was on at 5:15am ON LINE ...Could not get it!

Wound u booking one for 4 people on line and waiting till 7:00AM to call Disney Dining...Booked a 2nd reservation for 2...We are 3 couples, so it should be fine! Really wanted to try ChefdeFrance, so took what we could get!

Sad that I couldn't get reservation for 6, but HOPING that if we go early to restaurant, they will be able to seat all six of us together...if not, 2 tables next to each other should be fine...

I think reservations for 5 or more are more difficult to get!:scared1: BOOK EARLY!:thumbsup2

So so so excited!!! We booked our candlelight lunch package before narrators were announced. Just looked at the list to see if it had been updated recently to discover that we have NPH on our night!!! Beyond thrilled.

Still waiting for the "TBD" dates in December to be finalized!:santa:

CAN'T WAIT for the show!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Just looked and we have NPH too! I booked our package back at our 180 mark, and was hoping for a good narrator, which we got :-)

I am VERY excited to have Whoopi this year! We were supposed to have Olivia newton John in 2012 - I was over the moon - then I received an email 2 weeks befor our trip saying she wouldn't be coming. I was bummed.
