I have booked a Candlelight package for my family. I had to use my credit card to hold the reservation. I am not on the DDP. However, I think I am about to book a package including the DDP.. How does this change things for me? Do I need to call CRO back and tell them I am on DDP? Will that remove my credit card hold? I believe I read that DDP covers the charges for Candlelight regardless of what Tier you have booked. True?

I'd be interested in hearing the answer to this, too. I AM on the dining plan and when I called to reserve, they still took credit card info to hold the reservation. Apparently, if you don't call in at least 48 hours to cancel, they charge your card. After I hung up, it occured to me-I hope they're not going to charge my card anyways (although they didn't when I reserved Norway, then canceled a week in advance).

Not to worry, the DDP does cover the CP as well as a the Fantasmic Package at MGM. They take your credit card whether or not you are on the plan as they need to be sure you'll show up and not take that opportunity away from someone who really wants to get the package. They will only charge your credit card if you don't show up but you can cancel up to 48 hours out.

Hi, cheeseburger! I see you're new-:welcome:
The candlelight package is for the Candlelight Processional in Epcot. By buying the package, you eat at a particular time at a particular resturaunt and get seating in the "reserved" area of the Candlelight Processional. The main DIS page can explain it much better than I can.
