Candelight Processional--can you still walk around WS??

Is World Showcase completely dark when CP is happening? We've been to Illuminations a few times and it would be impossible to walk around when that's going on, but we've never been to the CP so I don't know if they shut down all the lights.

We're doing MVMCP and the Osborne Lights, but I'm not sure if CP will hold DS's interest so I'm thinking maybe we could stand in the back and if he doesn't seem interested we could still walk around.

Anyone know??

Around WS they do not dim or otherwise turn off lights during Candlelight Processional.Have a magical trip to WDW.
