Cancelling SW reservation--how late?

Have a ticket on SW for a friend who may travel with me tomorrow...but if the trip falls through, I can cancel up until an hour before flight (or even actual flight time?) and get it credited back to ticketless travel funds, right?

(not finding this on SW...but I think that's how it works)

Pretty sure that's right, but you might want to call just to be sure. With SWA you get to talk to real person too!

With SW, you can actually NO SHOW and get full credit back to your account.

It is more polite to call though.

I think you can cancel online almost up to flight time.
In this case, I cancelled 12 hours out online...all funds back in the Ticketless Travel savings fund. (no interest, of course...but I'm sure I'll book a trip to MCO soon!)

Bummed I don't get to see my friend this weekend though.

For anyone else reading the thread...if you cancel your ticketless funds are immediately available. I don't think credits for no-shows are immediate, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they show up until the next day.

I've actually been on the phone with SWA while the plane was taking off, to cancel and rebook a client of my boss's. They are more than flexible.
