Cancelling rules using borrowed points

They should be but I have found out the hard way that the MS Advisor's don't always do it that way. I have been told that "the computer does it automatically", I try to verify with MS what they are doing as they are doing it. It seems that all is well, then I find out that the wrong points were applied. Two weeks ago I was told that MS would do a audit to try and fix our points that they have messed up. I haven't heard anything yet. :sad2:

Wow.. that isn't good.. so they expect you to do the right thing, but they aren't sure they can? Does that make sense.

I have only been in this not even a month... and I am already having doubts.. what happened to the Disney magic?

I want to book a weekend getaway (not disney) through the World Passport Collection.. but you can't because nothing is available beyond July4.. but I can keep checking... Like hello.. I need to book air and everything and at this point I have no clue what is available... just really sucks.

Disney and DVC have their problems, but I can tell you that they are working to correct them. DVC has grown by leaps and bounds the last couple of years and the various departments were not equipped to handle the added demands. They are continuing to staff up and one of the down sides of growth is training new Cast Members.

Do yourself a favor and down load Caskbill's DVC programs. They work great for planning and tracking your DVC points and vacations.

I did download it, thanks... I am just learning as I go along. I am very green.. like I didnt' realize that the short stays through the world collection was short notice only. So I am trying to read as much as I can here and hopefully will get some knowledge of DVC under my belt.

Like if I am looking to book something for May 09.. and I banked June 07 and just received June 08.. when can I book? 11 months or now? and can I request it ahead of time.? I have no clue what perks members get... just green and learning.

The tracker program shows you your vacation current UY vacation time line. You should also use the planner program. With it you can print a vacation report that shows you your call dates.

Yeah I've noticed they've done some strange things with some of my points before. We actually called with a different point question, and the CM noticed they misapplied points on one reservation and she was able to actually correct that. That totally escaped our notice, so it was great that we had a CM who was proactive. We ended up with an extra 40 points that we can bank this year
