I was wondering if anyone knew if I cancelled a few days of my Disney Resort Reservation if my ADR's for those days will automatically be cancelled? I have 10 days booked and want to cancel the first 3 days to stay at a friends house. We will still be going to the parks so I still need my ADR's. Has anyone had any experience with this?

You don't have to stay at a Disney resort to make an ADR but if you cancel the first 3 days and if somehow it is tied into the reservation number who knows, good question but don't know at least this will bump it up.

Your ADRs will not be cancelled.

I had us booked at the Poly for our July trip last year. Four months before the trip we ended up having a major unexpected house expense, and I had to change our plans to off-site. All of our ADRs remained intact. It shouldn't be a problem for you if you need to cancel your room.

Like the PP said your ADRs will not be cancelled even if they are connected to your ressie. My DH and I were booked at the CR during free dining but because of some unforseen circumstances we had to cancel that and book renting some DVC points from someone on the boards. Our ADRs are all still there and if I get there and they aren't I have my confirmation numbers. I made sure I asked the CM who I called to cancel with to make sure my ADRs wouldn't be cancelled and he said that they wouldn't. So don't worry!
