cancelling holding acct ressie

Here's my situation. Just had to cancel. Points went into holding. What happens if I rebook within 60d window, but have to cancel again. Will they put points back into holding or do I forfeit them?

They go back in to holding and will expire at the end of the UY they are currently in.
