Cancelling cruise

Used 2020 points for 2020 cruise(over 200 days out).
Can I cancel and get all my points back .

I believe that when you get your points back, they will only be good for the Disney collection - they won’t come back as regular points. Since they have been taken out of the regular dvc system, they can’t be used like regular points anymore.

Maybe a call to member services when they open to find out?

Yes, I did.

the points will be returned to the use year in which they fall and they will be reservation points that can be used in the Disney collection. We cancelled a cruise on points and then used them to book the Grand Floridian (the hotel, not DVC) for my son. We had to pay another $95 fee when we booked the room.
