Cancelling car rental reservation after arrival at airport

I currently have two reservations - one with National Emerald Aisle for $202, another with Alamo for a minivan for $243. If we find a minivan on EA, can I cancel Alamo without penalty, even if I cancel after my pickup time? I am a member of both frequent renter programs, so the res. was secured with a credit card.

Don't keep multiple reservations with full intent to cancel one. Choose which you're willing to accept now, and cancel the other.

You have to check the fine print when it comes to minivans. I've rented and have seen a penalty tied to minivan rentals. I think if you need a minivan and can't settle for anything else I would bite the bullet and go with that. I've been an EA member for 10 years and scoring a minivan (when you need a minivan) is rare. When it's just the 2 of us, we see them all of the time. The minivan rates on Alamo are incredibily low right now.
