I have just been moved from AKL to WL and have an ADR at Bomas that I think I need to cancel because if I get over there and see people swimming in the pool it will just upset me (they told me everyone will be moving during my time frame, don't believe that for a second) so any suggestions to replace it?

Personally I love Boma and would not cancell, but since you asked, try WCC at WL. There really is nothing comparable to Boma so replacing it won't be easy, what type of food/meal are you looking for.

I have an ADR at Boma in 3 weeks. I would only be upset if there are no Animals around for viewing.

If you're absolutely certain you won't enjoy Boma's, then it's probably a nice thing to cancel and allow someone else have a wonderful meal.

Me? Wild horses (or zebras...for that matter) couldn't keep me from my Boma ressie. :)

WCC right at the WL has a wonderful breakfast skillet. It is one of our favorite places to have breakfast.

:rotfl: Ain't that the truth!!:rotfl:

Op, don't worry about everyone else. Just go to Boma' to eat. I can understand you being a bit upset. Where were you moved? If it is the seeing people in the
pool. How about you go through the entrance, where the buses let you off, and then just straight into Boma'. If you know looking at the pool will upset you dont venture there. Just go and enjoy your dining ressie!:thumbsup2

Boma is awesome regardless if you're staying at the resort or not. :confused3

I agree, seeing the animals for us is just a bonus. The food is the real reason we are there!

I have just make a reservation for Boma myself. We are staying at a different resort on DW property. How much of the AKL are outsiders allowed to see? Is there a public viewing area to see animals? Can you see them from the Boma dining room?

There are public areas for viewing of the animals. The easiest one to find is if you go all the way through the lobby, down the stairs, out the doors and follow the path a ways forward you can see where the animals are. There is no viewing of animals or anything really from Boma at all (at least we saw nothing and we were right by the window). I've only gone to AKL for Boma and had to make that small "trek" to see the grounds with the animals and the pool. So unfortunately you can't see much of anything from the front of the resort.

We were moved to WL. At this point, I am going to keep my ADR at Boma's. I think it will be neat to see the animals and enjoy the food! Thanks everyone for your help
