Cancelling before holding penalty.

If my DVC countdown timer says I have 30 days till my trip, am I within the penalty period if I cancel? In other words do I need to cancel before midnight when it says I have 31 days left. Or when I have 30 days left? Thanks in advance!

It’s 31 days or more in advance. Once you get to 30 days, it’s a holding penalty.

And, it may be 9 pm and not midnight because of when MS closes.

I personally would not wait until the last minute in case there is a website issue..so at least you can still call in.

I always double check the date though and never rely on the DVC countdown!! l
