Cancelling a room only stay won't cancel dining reservations?

DH and I have a split stay. DS may or may not join us so we have a room only reservation for the length of the stay. If I book dining for the full length under his room reservation but then need to cancel his room, will the dining reservations remain for the whole length?

ADR are not connected directly to your room reservation(s). Yes you can cancel (1) or all of your resort reservation, and you ADR selections will still be there, and secured by your Credit Card.
