Cancellations

We have a trip planned with our friends, and I am getting the vibe that they may be considering backing out. They've never been to WDW, and I certainly want them to go, but I'm not going to be pushy.
My family is still going, and we'll still have a wonderful time.
I'm wondering what the canccellation policy is at WDW. How much of their money will they lose? Does anyone know?

I know that if it a room only reservation, you can cancel up to six days out with a full refund. I am unsure of the cancellation policy for packages. The official WDW website would be the best place to go for answers. If the package was booked through an agency of some type, they will probably have their own cancellation policies.

I thought I understood that the tickets were non-refundable, but rooms were refundable??

You can cancel a package 45 days out & get all your money back. After that you get charged a fee to cancel.

Tickets are nonreundable (if you have purchased tickets already/seperatly).

I'm not sure what to do. We have a place rented on the beach for a week, and then five days at the world. I don't want to push them into going and then have them not enjoy it. They've already paid for most of their portion of the trip. (Incl. Airfare)
So, financally it's not going to really affect me, and it will probably make my trip less stressful(I can just focus on my wife and kids), but if they don't go, there are some things that I would do different, and I can't make any changes until I know.
And, to add to it all, they are the kind of people that, if you were to ask them point blank, "Are you going or not" they would get offended. I know it sounds like I don't like them, but the truth is they're are my wife's best friends, and they are like sisters to us( they are sistes)
So it makes it a bit difficult.
Any thoughts?
