Does anyone know what the Cancellation policy is for room only reservations? We were planning on going to Disney in February but we might not be able to. We won't know if we will be able to go until only about 3 days before our expected check in date. My plan was to book our reservations for 2 dates. Our 1st choice of February and our second choice of May and then just cancel and apply our deposit to which ever one we ended up using. Would this work?

Cancellation Policy: Room Only Cancellation Policy:

In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, notification of cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to your arrival date. To cancel or modify an existing reservation, call your Travel Agent. The cancellation and refund policy is subject to change

Cancellation Policy: Packages Cancellation & Change Fees:

~ For a cancellation made 44 to 6 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of $100 per package plus any cancellation fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.

~ For a cancellation made 5 days or less prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of $200 per package plus any cancellation fees by hotels or other suppliers. No refunds will be given to no-shows. For a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival or that results in a rate change, there is a change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers. For changes, the change fees must be paid in addition to any increase in rate resulting from the change

You are not cancelling, you are modifying. There is a difference. Since you plan on just switching your dates to a later time you will not be penalized. IF you were cancelling outright you would loss a night's deposit.

I'm suppose to leave in less than a week but because of Ivan I might have to delay my trip. The CM I spoke with this morning said even if I called the day before to change my trip to different days I would not be penalized.

good luck,
Shirley

The over is for room only reservations not a package.
