Cancellation Policy?

Not that I plan on cancelling any of my reservations last minute (I was lucky to get them so easily in the first place!!), but I am curious to know what the cancellation policy is for places like LeCellier and Narcossee's?? I noticed on WDW webpage, when you look those places up it says a cancellation policy may apply. How exactly do they enforce it on the dining plan? Do they just subtract a credit (or two depending on the place)
