First time booking a package with hotel/tickets. No airfare. Am slightly confused about the refund policy for within the 45 days with no travel insurance. Does this mean it's just a $200 loss? Would there be hotel fees or is this mainly an airfare fee warning? Has anyone seen any hotel feels before not refunded?

45-0 days - $200 fee per reservation, plus fees imposed by hotel, airline and/or other components

Some book a package that includes airfare

The present cancellation policy lists cancelled bookings (no questions asked) does not have a waiver for air fare

So are you saying for a package with just hotel/tickets I would get a full refund minus the $200?

I’m having a glitch using my phone so can’t copy what I read on the site

go to the UO site and it explains the cancellation set up
I looked at the section of
“Buy tickets & More” which may help you with your question
Other links also in that section

it is stated present policy is valid thru dec.

Ah ok, I put that it was for room and park tickets package in original post. No airfare. I'm just trying to confirm that if I cancel close to the date I will get back everything except the $200 for the package. This is WITHOUT the cancel for any reason optional insurance.

I was just piggy backing onto your thread to ask about RO. LOL

I sat on hold today to find out for sure. For a package it's $200 PLUS the cost of the room for one night. I imagine for room only it's the same. However you can call and change the dates for $50 but they may waive that $50 if you are nice and haven't called excessively to change it. Or you can avoid all of this and pay for the insurance. Then you're only out the cost of the insurance and no other fees.

Here is my RO policy

Cancellation Policy
Cancel by 6:00 PM local hotel time at least 5 days prior to arrival to avoid a 1 night cancel penalty charge.

I almost pulled the trigger of booking a package when I found out that price wise room + ticket package rarely saved any $ but have this cancellation limitation so I ended booking tickets & rooms separately.

I went ahead and paid for the insurance on my package. That's something I never would have done pre-covid.

I don’t believe there is a $ benefit to a package. I used to just book room only and buy park tickets day of arrival.

this allows for flexible cancellation and changes if needed.
