What is the policy to cancel a night on a reservation at DLH? Booked through Disney.

Depends when you're going, if it's soon i don;t think you will get any refund.

i think it ranges from 10-35% cancellation fee. i think theres a 35% cancellation fee if you want to cancel with less than 60 days until your holiday?
cant remember the exact figures though. the closer to your booking the more the cancellation fee.

It also depends which country's booking engine you used to book the trip - was it the UK one? If so, the cancellation policy for the hotels is as follows -

earlier than 60 days before arrival = lose 10% of total package price
60 days to 8 days before arrival = lose 35%
7 days to 3 days before arrival = lose 75%
2 days or less before arrival = lose 100%

Unfortunately, if you're cancelling one nights reservation, this is counted as a cancellation of the package and not an amendment to the package, because you are not equalling or increasing your booking price with the change.

When we tried to re price our package to use the kryiad room the DLH hotel was almost more than what we have for the two nites/three days. YIKES> and it was only 1 nite.

So we have looked at all options and I just need to square with the fact that I made a mistake, at $90 USD mistake and count myself lucky it was our cheapest room for the entire two weeks.

Yep, I think sometimes you just have to look on the bright side and be thankful that it wasn't your most expensive room. Still a bitter pill to swallow though .....

BTW, my house looks like a bomb the week before and after disney as before I dont know what to pack and after I cant decide what clothing needs washing first
