Cancellation Policies (new to making ADRs)

I have a question regarding canceling ADR's. We're going in late Oct and booked with the monster pin, not free dining. I have been making a few ADR's on the website but keep adjusting times. Anyways, I tried finding the cancellation policy because I've been playing with times and restaurants so much, but everything I click on seems to tell me to go somewhere else, then one page said each place has their own cancellation policy, but when I look at the restaurant it says to check the reservation itself and so on. I can't find this answer anywhere!
So, my question is, not considering dining shows or character meals, how far in advance can I cancel my reservations without being penalized.

For any restaurants except CRT, Dinner Shows, Akershus, Cali Grill, and Special Packages (F!, CP, etc), you can cancel at any time without penalty. (V&A fits in here somewhere too)

For Akershus, Cali Grill, and any other CC Held reservations, the time varies, but it's usually 24 hrs ahead of time or a nominal fee is applied.

For CRT and Dinner Shows, you "prepay" when the booking is made. If you don't show up, you've already paid. In the case with DDP reservations for these meals, you would then be charged the price of the meal. Usually this is either 24 or 48hrs ahead of time.

Any reservation that does not take a credit card number to book will not charge you for canceling.

I know that California Grill, Victoria & Albert, and Bistro de Paris all said that I have to cancel 24 (or maybe it was 48) hours in advance or my credit card would be billed.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure BdP did not take a cc number.

Also last year, tix for the Candlelight Procession dinner package (ours was Le Cellier) had a cancellation policy as well.
