Cancellation Dates - Can someone help me?

We have a DVC reservation checking in on January 4th. My Dad is having major health issues and things are not looking good. Can someone help me figure out when I would need to cancel to avoid points going into a holding account? With everything going on right now, I feel like my brain is mush. Thanks.

December 3rd, I think, is 31 days prior to your check-in date. To be safe, I'd cancel by Dec. 2nd.

I believe Chuck is correct

You would need to cancel BEFORE Dec 5, so cancel on Dec 4 or before.
