unfortunately, I am going to have to cancel my vacation. My mother just had a stroke and I feel it is best for me to stay home and help take care of her instead. Our trip was August 15-19. We did purchase the insurance also. I've never had to do this before and was wondering what the process was. And will I received a full refund? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I guess I will have to call and hope for the best. Thank you for the well wishes as well. I'm praying everything works out!! Thank you again

Can you come up with new dates and just reschedule for a few months from now? If nothing's changed they don't charge you to move your dates, otherwise you're going to pay a cancellation fee.

I wish it was that easy. With this type of situation it's hard to tell when my mother will be ok again...by any chance do you know what the fee is?

I just got off the phone with them and was told it's a 200 fee but do to it being a medical emergency there's a way to take care of that as well since I purchased the insurance. Thanks for your help

I wish you the best, and really sorry to hear about your mom.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. On the bright side, I'm glad they let you cancel - sometimes if it's not a medical emergency for the person on the trip they don't allow it.
