Canceling reservations confirmed with cc

On the Disney site, all of the reservations that are confirmed with a cc come up with a 48 hour cancelation policy. For some reason, I thought it was 24 hours. I had even read here that it was midnight the day before. Does anyone have experience with the new policy? Have you been charged if you canceled with less than 48 hour notice? I’ll probably make a decision ahead of time to be on the safe side, but I was just wondering what your experience has been recently.

I cancelled on 3/3 at MK park closing time (9ish?) for a 3/4 breakfast at Ohanna. No problems with being charged.

The website is so wonky with misinformation I wouldn't put much stock into it. Is it a regular reservation or some kind of dinner show? Dinner shows might require more advanced cancelling, but I've never heard on the boards about it.

I was under the impression that you would have to cancel 1 full day in advance. So for a 3/4 breakfast, you would have to cancel on 3/2. It sounds like I was wrong. Does anyone know the actual policy?

It's never been midnight the day before, I think it was 10 PM when the phone line closed. Although not so sure about online.

It's "one day" for most reservations, now supposedly they are saying that means 24 hours (Fantasmic package, CP packages and Victoria & Albert's are 48 hours, maybe there are some other things that are also 48 hours, but most restaurants are not.) The problem we have here is that the website is not reliable. And for that reason we are now unable to say what the EXACT policy is with any confidence. Personally I'd stick with 24 hours to be safe right now.
