Canceling and rebooking car rental with expedia

So my fares dropped for February, and I cancelled and rebooked the exact same car for $137 dollars cheaper than I first paid. Now they have dropped again. I don't want things to get confusing, as I already registered with Alamo for the skip the counter. Can you do this multiple times?

As long as it's not a prepaid rate, it's fine.

Just keep the cancellation notices or numbers they give you in case there are problems.

If it drops again, I would try booking directly on the Alamo website and leave Expedia out of the equation all together.
You should be able to get the same rate directly or an even better rate if you check for coupons and codes on the transportation board here.
You have to figure Expedia is making money on the transaction, which is folded into the price somewhere, a direct booking should give these savings to you instead of Expedia.

wow I checked with Alamo directly and got the same card for 50 dollars cheaper
